Privacy

We do not sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

We ask for it so that booking works, and so we can sort players into classes, tournaments, events and lessons that are restricted by age or sex. That is the whole reason.

What we collect

When you create an account: your first and last name, a nickname, your email address, your phone number, your date of birth and your sex. All of them are required โ€” the last two for the reason in the next section.

The PIN you choose. It is stored scrambled (bcrypt-hashed), so nobody at PicklePro can read it or tell you what it is.

If you sign in with LINE, the LINE user id that LINE gives us. That is how we recognise you next time and send your booking messages in LINE. We never see your LINE password or your chats.

What you do here: your bookings, cancellations, waitlist spots, payments, your PicklePro balance and packages, and the coaches you starred.

Photos of the bank transfer slips you upload to pay.

Your language, currency and clock settings, so the app opens the way you like it.

Why we ask for your birthdate and sex

Coaches and venues run sessions that are restricted by age or sex โ€” a womenโ€™s doubles night, an over-50 clinic, a junior squad, a 40+ bracket in a tournament. Your date of birth and your sex are how the app knows which of those you can join.

That is what they are for: we use them to categorise classes, tournaments, events and lessons that are restricted by age or sex, and to show you the ones you are eligible for. This information is not sold, it is not used for advertising, and your birthdate is not shown to other players.

Who can see what

Your coach sees you as their student: your name and nickname, your email and phone, your age and sex, the sessions you booked with them, what you have paid and anything you still owe.

A venue sees you as a client of that venue โ€” enough to know whose name a court is booked under.

Coaches and venues cannot see each otherโ€™s players. There is no shared player directory, and nobody can browse the people who signed up with someone else.

Other players see your nickname. They do not see your birthdate, your phone number or your email.

The small PicklePro team can look at an account when we are fixing a problem or sorting out a payment dispute. That is it.

Payment slips

When you pay by PromptPay or bank transfer you upload a photo of the slip. It is kept in private storage โ€” not at a public web address โ€” and shown to the coach or venue you are paying, so a human can confirm the money arrived. Until they approve it, your booking is not confirmed.

Two automated checks read the slip first, to stop faked, edited and re-used slips: an AI service (Anthropic) reads the amount, date and account from the picture, and a Thai slip-verification service (EasySlip) asks whether that transfer really settled at the bank.

Your slip is never shown to other players, and never used for anything except confirming that one payment.

Who else touches your data

PicklePro runs on hosted services: Netlify (the app and file storage) and Neon (the database). We send email through Resend, and LINE messages through LINE if you have connected it. Slip checking uses the two services named above.

They handle your data so that we can run the service. None of them are allowed to sell it, and we do not hand your details to anyone else.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.

Booking, payment and slip records can stay in a coachโ€™s or a venueโ€™s own books for as long as they need them for their accounts and their tax โ€” that is their record of money you paid them, and we cannot erase their bookkeeping for them.

Deleting, correcting, or getting a copy

Email picklepro@easynow.life from the address on your account and tell us what you want: delete my account, fix something that is wrong, or send me a copy of what you hold. A person does it โ€” usually within a few days, and we write back either way.

You can also change your name, nickname, phone, birthdate and sex yourself under My Account, any time.

Thai law

PicklePro is run from Thailand, so Thailandโ€™s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) is the law that applies. Under it you can ask to see your data, correct it, withdraw your consent, and have it deleted โ€” the section above is how you do all four.

We are a small team describing plainly what we actually do, rather than quoting statutes at you. If something here is unclear, or you think we have got it wrong, write to us and we will fix it.
